The Alabama Productivity Center offers training and implementation assistance in Human Resource Management areas including:
• Employment Satisfaction Surveys - An Employee Satisfaction Survey, also known as an Employee Opinion Survey, can provide you with valuable insights to strengthen your organization in the areas where employees feel there are opportunities to improve. Benefits include increased employee retention, employee satisfaction and a reduction in turnover.
• Team Building - Team building activities can invigorate and excite a group. Fresh, novel experiences can enliven employees and remind employees of the importance of good interpersonal relationships. Trust is the precursor to liking one another and employees that genuinely like one another, including management, can rebound quickly from low morale. Teamwork happens when an organization's team members understand their roles in the team process and actively work to support each other in that process. Team members will become highly involved with each other toward accomplishing the organization’s goals as they engage one another with understanding, share constructive feedback, participate actively in meetings, resolve for consensus, and work together to solve problems.
• Leadership Training - Training teaching managers and front-line supervisors to motivate, coach, and mentor employees using communication and relationship basics are available. For example, modules can be selected to address:
o Focusing on people skills for better business results
o Maximizing potential of oneself and his/her employees
o Increasing communications and motivation skills
o Improving performance of oneself and others
